Khafif will be performing for Iranian Culture Day at Joseph-Beth Booksellers on the South Side, between 2:00pm and 4:00pm, interspersed with readings from two Iranian authors, Trita Parsi and Fatemeh Keshavarz, and joined by several other Iranian culture associations. After a brief stop in a phone booth somewhere in Oakland to change out of our Persian coats, Khafif will be performing from 5:00 to 5:30pm at Ten Thousand Villages International Fair Trade Day at their Squirrel Hill store, as part of a great line-up of performers from Pittsburgh's Middle Eastern and African music and dance communities. Come hear African and Middle Eastern music all afternoon, along with some great bellydance!
